NASCAR racing is a big sport that adults and children alike enjoy watching. Kids everywhere dream about driving one of these race cars themselves. Kids of all ages will enjoy doing a craft that has to do with NASCAR racing. Here is a very fun project for all kids who want their own racing car.
The supplies that you will need to do this NASCAR racing craft are:
Empty potato chip canisters (Pringles)
Construction Paper (white, black, red and blue)
Tacky white glue
Glue stick
Black and red fine line markers
Scissors
Pencil
White out
Pattern (You can find this online or you can come up with your own)
Ruler
When you first start this NASCAR racing project, you will need to cut out the pattern and trace around it. You want to use the construction paper to trace on. Each part of the pattern can be a different color or if you prefer you can make it all one color.
Once you have traced the pattern on the construction paper you will want to cut them out. You can then use the black and red marker to make details on the NASCAR racing car (on the construction paper patterns you just cut out) such as, your favorite number, a picture, the word NASCAR or anything else you want to. For the wheels that you will use you can cut out black circles, than put a smaller white circle in the middle using glue to attach it.
Than all that is left is to glue the construction paper onto the can and you have a NASCAR racing car that is great for girls and boys. They will be able to show everyone how they have their own NASCAR racing vehicle.
