These learning materials have yearly and periodical issues that are updated and contain resources, tips, ideas, and instructions. These come in the form of manuals, volumes sets, and also in specific subject matters.
There are different methods of locating these learning materials too. The first method is by subscription method where these are sent weekly or monthly, based on the type of subscription, and follow a prescribed plan produced by the editor. Also, these may be found at libraries and local book stores, these may cover one specific subject matter or follow a theme while touching on all aspects and subject matters.

With the growth and effectiveness of technology, homeschooling books are not the only option for providing the child with a complete education. There are certified homeschooling programs online, some programs are completely internet based while others will intertwine the internet and these learning materials. Also, neighborhood homeschooling groups can keep the social aspect of education prevalent for the child. Homeschooling books may provide ideas for group activities and with some research a parents can use these cooperatively with each other. These two methods can be very effective but for the safety of the child it would be wise to use parental supervision.
